What's up with yo' face?

One difference that Frustrated Sosyalera has
compared to other fashion & beauty blogs is that FS is not a fashion or beauty expert, nor am I a style icon, a magazine editor or a model. I'm just an average girl, trying to fit these things into my lifestyle -- up to a certain price, of course. I'm not one who likes to waste their money on ridiculously expensive clothes and beauty products (actually, that's just because I'm stingy).

Therefore, any comments you
see here about products are based on my humble opinion and taken out of my own experiences.

~oOo~oOo~oOo~

As some of you may know, I have just had an unpleasant run-in with a facial sebum clog on my face (translate: big, farkin zit).

Please don't take notice of my un-groomed eyebrow.

Apart from sleepless nights, one other reason for this is that I had been slacking on my facial
cleansing routine. If there's one thing you should always do for your face, it is to regularly clean, tone & moisturise your face.

I didn't use toner before, and as a result I had these really gross stuff sprouting all over my nose (i.e. your friendly neighborhood black & white heads).

I'm very picky when it comes to chemicals I use on my face. I'm not saying it's flawless, ok? I just don't want to make it worse than it already is. Heh.

One line of products I would recommend if you're picky like me, is
The Body Shop's Seaweed line.

Seaweed has been known to help minimise pores -- ergo, less breakouts.

THE BODY SHOP PRODUCTS YOU SHOULD TRY OUT

The Body Shop Seaweed Facial Wash is soap & oil-free, which gives your face a deep clean without drying your skin. And as it's a gel-type wash, it won't leave your skin with too much residue which can dull your skin.

If you're wondering why this bottle is half-empty, it's because I gave a bit of it to my sister -- she wanted to try out how effective this is. I'm such a good preacher! Heh!

I had been looking for a non-alcohol based toner for the longest time, and only recently found out that there's one at The Body Shop all along!

Unlike The Body Shop's Seaweed Clarifying Toner, most toners in the market contain denatured alcohol which not only dries your skin, but may also potentially cause your skin to have an uneven tone especially when you go out into the sun right after using it.

Although, this toner still contains a little bit of alcohol, I'm very pleased to say that it's not one of the main ingredients as listed on the back.

Now, if only there's a cheap way to get rid of my eyebags...

I hope this has been helpful to y'all and give me a buzz if you think this is a yay or nay, yeah?
