FS Picks This Week December 1-7

Woohoo! I'm back! Thought this blog wouldn't be updated, didn'tcha?

To everyone who dropped by over the weekend, my HUUUUUUGE thanks! I've been away with my friends to a nice resort, which I will show y'all soon where. As I was away in the boondocks, I had to do without internetz for a couple of days. I was having panic attacks, you wouldn't believe it.

So anyway, Frustrated Sosyalera's going to the movies this week. There are a few good ones coming out, so I've decided to concentrate on films today.

These are the movies opening this week in Manila:

RocknRolla

Starring
Gerard Butler
Thandie Newton
Jeremy Piven
Chris "Ludacris" Bridges

Director
Guy Ritchie

I'm definitely out to catch this one. I'm a big fan of Guy Ritchie's "Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrells" and I think Gerard Butler and Jeremy Piven are excellent actors, so they're reason enough for me. However, Rotten Tomatoes had only given it a 58% rating, so that's a downer. That's not going to stop me, though!

Pride and Glory

Starring
Edward Norton
Colin Farrell
John Voight

I'm a bit weak when it comes to Edward Norton films. Trouble is, just the title of this film is already turning me off, besides the fact that I don't fancy Colin Farrell much. But since Ed always brings out a good performance, maybe his acting could save this film.

Quarantine

Starring
Jennifer Carpenter
Steve Harris

I have no opinion... yet. I'll let you know when I see it. Heh.

Four Christmases

Starring
Reese Witherspoon
Vince Vaughn

Since it's December already, christmas movies have begun tumbling out. I've heard that this one, though, isn't that good. Vince and Reese, apparently, have no chemistry. So, maybe I'll pass. I'm not too keen on christmas films anyway.
