I've read an article about Bagelheads' popularity rising in Japan and I seriously get migraines just by looking at the photos. These guys apparently sit down for 2 hours while a medical saline solution is pumped into their foreheads to get this alien look.
I could think of at least a dozen better things to do in those 2 hours, if you ask me.
Of course, I could be wrong.
Good Lord, here come the Brides of Chucky.

July 13, 2011 at 2:16 PMWTH! I rather spend my two hours planting rice than have something injected in my forehead to look like THAT.
July 13, 2011 at 5:26 PMPopBlush: I know what you mean -- even I couldn't look at the photos for very long! T____T
Gessyl: Not worth our time & effort AT ALL. tsk!

Well the girl at least looked like a kabuki mask (with the needled syringe like the horns). I guess they could at least tell their parents it was 'cultural'. LOL. While the girl on the right don't quiet have the noh look, she at least reminds me of a certain Japanese folkloric monster.
July 13, 2011 at 8:56 PMOh wowsers, things like this just boggle my mind. People PAY to look like this? Just run your head into a wall a bunch of times and I'm sure your forehead will swell up like that if you're lucky. Such an undesireable look, bleeeh. On the other hand, I hope you're having a great week so far :)
